Corrupt Traffic Cop Arrested in Russia

And it might look like a regular middle-class home from the outside, but inside, it’s like something out of imperial Russia, with gilded bathrooms and bedrooms. The owner of the mini-mansion is a traffic cop, who was arrested on Tuesday. He’d been running an extortion gang, extorting huge bribes from cargo transporters. Together with his 35 accomplices, he’d bribed his way to a bank balance of almost a quarter of a million dollars. He’s set to appear in court on Wednesday.
